     This week I read Jane Eyre. This book is written about a woman's life. This main character is Jane Eyre. When she was a child, she was an orphan, so she lived in her aunt house with the Reed family. The Reed family hated her, so she was sent to the school for orphans. After she had been at the school for about eight years, she found work as a governess. Then, she met Mr Rochester, her future husband.
     I wrote down three quotes and will discuss them. The first one is: ' "I knew when I first saw you that you would help me one day. Your eyes and your smile told me. '(p.23). It is the scene that Jane and Mr Rochester fall in love. Jane heard Grace Poole's laugh at the night, and she told that Mr Rochester. This is a fact after reading all, Grace Poole was his wife. But she was mad and  tried to kill him. I sympathized her a little because she was forced to marry unwanted and she was abandoned by Mr Rochester. The second one is: ' So you, and Diana, and Mary are my cousin? '(p.57). It is the scene that Jane knew people had helped her were her cousin. She was very happy because she had thought that she had no family. I like this scene. I want to say her "I'm happy for you!". The third one is: ' "It is my Jane, isn't it?" "Yes, sir, it is. I'm back at last." '(p.66). It is the scene that Jane and Mr Rochester met again. I moved their love. They were married at last. I like this scene too.
     I recommend this book. It is not only love story but her life. I want to live my life like Jane. She is a perfect woman. Please read it !

I read Ireland this week. It's about Ireland, a country with beautiful high mountains, big empty beaches, long deep rivers. But it is not only side of Ireland. Another Ireland is a countly of stories and music. Most Irish people can sing, and there are many famous musicans and writers. Furthermore, Ireland has a side of blood, bombs, and death. When it comes to Ireland, I have an image of a tall round tower. I sometimes saw them when I watched Ireland movies. In the 20th centuries, Norwegian Vikings came to Ireland to steal many beautiful and expensive things in the Irish churches and mountains. Because of this, tall round towers were built beside them. Also, the story about Vikings is on page10-11. One day two different Viking ships came to a beautiful place in Ulster, and tried to fight each other to get the place at first. The House by the sea     by Patricia Aspinall      I read The House by the sea this week.      This is about a man, Carl Anderson. He was a businessman. He had a wife, Linda. They lived in a house by the sea. He hadn't had enough time with her because he had been busy and he had thought his work was most important than anything else. One day, he broke his promise to spend Linda, so she got angry and go out their home. He thought he should talk with her, and called her friend Melissa. Carl and Linda promised to meet after she went to the party with her friends. But she didn't call him when he waited for her at a pub. That evening, he saw a strange man there. He was Tom Parker. After hearing his strange rumor, Carl had a sense of foreboding and thought Linda was in a trouble. He looked for her all the night. The Ironing Man    by Colin Campbell      I read The Ironing Man this week. It's about a couple, Tom and Marina.      Tom works in London and lives in a small village outside London. Marina is his wife. She had spent bored life in a small village. One day, a man visited her. She called him the ironing man because he ironed her shirts  perfectly. She talked and spent a short time with him. After he left, she saw a butterfly and thought a wing of the butterfly may make an earthquake. On that evening, she told Tom about the ironing man and a butterfly which she had thought that noon. Tom doubted she became mad and started to think what she was doing. Then, Tom noticed a possibility that she cheated him. He became unconcious and asked a detictive to search her acts. After a few days, a woman visited Marina.
