A LITTLE PRINCESS        This week I read A LITTLE PRINCESS. The main character in this book is Sara Crewe. She is a very rich little girl. She first comes to England when she is seven, and her father goes back to his work in India after he took her to Miss Minchin's school. Sara is a smart and nice girl, so she soon makes friends at school. But on her eleventh birthday, her father died. She lost her family and home.         I liked this story because it taught me that it's important not to give up. I wrote down three quotes and will discuss them. The first one is: "I'm always going to be your friend - and nobody can stop me!"(p.19). I like this words because Ermengarde said it to Sara when she was a servant. She cherishes friendship. The second one is: "At once, the monkey jumped down and began to run round the room."(p.22). Because it is the scene that Sara meets Ram Dass. Ram Dass is a Indian gentleman's servant. I like him. Adventures of Sindbad the sailor  I wanted to give some of the jewels to the captain, but he said:"We are men of Basra. When we find a man who has been thrown by wind or sea on an island, we take him into our ship and give him food and drink and clothes, and we help him on his way to his things from him, because we help him for the love of Allah." I read "Adventures of Sindbad the sailor". Sindbad, a main character in this book, went on a journey seven times. He is unfortunate and very lucky man. He will die many times but he survived thanks to his friends and kind merchants. I feel exciting in his fourth voyage. I think the person can help people for free is marvelous. I wonder what happened to his wife after that.
