The soup cooked and cooked. Finally, it was ready. Everyone ate a big bowl. "This is delicious!" they all said. The soup made them so happy that they danced and sang all night long. I read "Stone Soup". A certain village is a stage in this book. A man who is a visitor came to the village. He started to make stone soup for every one. Then, people in the village brought a cabbage, carrots, corn and beans. They had a party at the night. From then on, the people in the village shared. I found sharing with everyone is great!

Last Saturday, I studied hard to pass the exam next week. I'm feeling nervous because I will take a exam for first time in the university. This Sunday, I spent watching TV because it rained. And I made a curry. I used plenty of vegetables. It was delicious.

"That's really bad! Put that bad maid on a horse - a mad, bad horse. And let the mad, horse throw her into the sea!" "Right," said the king, "then this is what will happen to you!" (p.19) I read "The Goose Girl". In this story, a queen's beautiful daughter went to marry a princess. But a maid threatened her to be a princess. She was so sad and put her house's head by the big castle gate to see its face. It feels nervous but the princess reverse victory in latter half. I was refreshed after reading it.

"The magic key glowed last night," said Kipper. "I had a magic adventure." "We don't believe you," said Biff. "No, it was just a dream," said Chip. (p.32) I read "The Kidnappers". Kipper and Kipper's toys went to a magic world. They had a picnic and found the scene famous bears were pushed by some nasty bears. They played an active part to help the famous bears. It was interesting. I surprised the ways they help.

Anneenna picked up the model sphinx. "A sphinx has a lion's body and a man's head," she said. "But this does look a bit like Floppy." (p.32) I read "Egyptian Adventure". It's set in ancient Egypt. The children and Floppy were taken back in time by a magic key. Then, Floppy became like a god by the people in ancient Egypt. This story was so funny. I couldn't put it down.

Oh no! The flood water had come in. (p.20) I read "Flood!". It just keeps on raining and raining. The stream overflows and the park is flooded. A family started to prepare flood coming soon. I remember when happened the great east Japan earthquake after reading it. Flood is so scared. I think I should prepare for a disaster. It's easy for me to read.

Biff showed the Viking shield to Mr Johnson. "It's very good," said Mr Johnson, "but Viking shields didn't look like this." Biff looked at Wilf and smiled. (p.32) I read "Viking Adventure". Four children went to the ages Viking was living. They could save the Viking village when raiders attack. People in the village gave them a shield. It sometimes makes me feel nervous but so exciting! Please read it!

Little Mouse Deer congratulated Gecko. "Well done, you really are faster than me but you are not as clever as me." "That's where you are wrong," laughed Gecko, giving a wink, and her brothers and sisters agreed. (P.24) I read "More Little Mouse Deer Tales". This main character is a little mouse deer. He is so smart, so he suggested a gecko that they have a race to run a long way. He knew that gecko would win a short race. But gecko was smarter than him. Finally, gecko won in the race. I think they didn't have a race but wisdom comparison. It was so funny and interesting. 

"I bet Floppy hated this adventure," said Chip. Floppy looked at them both. "I don't know," he thought. "I quite enjoyed it, really." (P.30) I read "Save Floppy!". Floppy, is a dog, is left behind on a magic adventure in this book. I liked the parts about Chip captured the evil genie into the treasure box. This story made me exciting. I couldn't put it down. Please read it!

Then the photographer wanted to give Biff some money. "It's a reward for saving my camera," she said. Biff said she couldn't take the money. "I'm just pleased you got your camera back safely," she said. I read "Pocket Money". This book's main character is Biff. One day, her dad said that Biff and her brothers can get a pocket money if they did lots of jobs to be done likes helping cook, washing up and laying table. She tried to do all jobs instead of her brothers in order to get more money. But her dad wanted his children to share the jobs. Another day, Biff found a photographer's camera which seems to be scolded by the waves. She saved it, so the photographer thanks and tried to give her some money. But she turned down. It taught me I should not act only for money. It was interesting.

Animals have different footprints. Can you match each footprint to the right animal? I read "Feet". It introduced various animal's footprints. I found that reindeer have feet that spread out not to sink into the snow. You can know animal ecology in this book. It was so interesting!

The prince smiled. Then, he got down on one knee and asked the girl to marry him. Why? He knew that only a real princess could feel a tiny pea under 20 mattresses and 20 quilts! This book's main character is a prince who was very lonely and wanted to get married. He looked high and low for the perfect wife, but had no luck. He couldn't find a real princess anywhere. But one stormy night, a girl who calls herself a princess. He invite her kindly. He put a tiny pea on her bed to confirm if she is a real princess. It's a interesting story.

Martina and the mouse lived happily ever after. And his soft sound was always music to her ears. I read "Martina the Cockroach". This book's main character is Martina, who is a pretty cockroach. She was ready to get married.  But she didn't want to share her home with a noisy husband. Finally, she got married the mouse whose sound is "Kiiii, kiiii." This story was so interesting. Please read it!

"Do you really want to leave all this fine food?" asked the city mouse. "The city is nice, but corn and safety are better than cherry pie and danger," said the country mouse. The two mice hugged good-bye. I read "The City Mouse and the Country Mouse. It's about differences in  values. I found that no matter where I roam, it's important to live where I like.

I like the series of SCHOLASTIC. My favorite five books are "Goldilocks and the Three Bears", "Cinderella", "The Spider and the Beehive", "The Nightingale" and "The Little Red Hen". They are short stories including fairy tale. "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" is about a girl who is Goldilocks. Then, quick as a wink, she ran out the door. And the three bears never saw that rude girl again. "Cinderella" is a popular story. It wrote in a story about Cinderella's effort. The shoe fit perfectly! At last, he had found the girl from the ball. "Will you marry me?" asked the prince. "Of course," said Cinderella. "The Spider and the Beehive" is about a spider who is self-indulgence. And from that day on, the spider always shared his fruit with his friends. "The Nightingale" is a king  who likes the voice of nightingale. There, he sang a song so sweet that the king was q

"You can keep the mirror," said Chip, "to have a shave and a haircut!" I read "Mirror Island". Four children and Captain Crow appeared in this story. I surprised how to find a treasure. What a useful mirror! It's interesting so please read it.

The people were frightened but Kipper went to help the giant. He picked up the giant's things and put a bandage round his head. Kipper was bigger than the giant. "Be a good giant," said Kipper. I read "Kipper and the Giant". I think Kipper is a nice boy. He helped the people in spite of having been bullied by them. It is a heartwarming story.

"What an adventure!" said Anneena. "I liked Robin Hood and his men. Let's sing the song." "Aaaaaah!" said Kipper. I read "Robin Hood". Kipper is a main character in this story. He helped Robin and three girls who is Kipper's friend in a magic world. He is kind and nice boy. But he is poor. I laughed when I finished reading it.

"I took photographs of dinosaurs," said Biff. "Oh yes," said Dad. "Well, I'm sorry, I didn't put a film in the camera." I read "Land of the Dinosaurs". Four boys go on a magic adventure in this book. They can go the land of the dinosaurs by going through the door of the magic house. They found many interesting things such as a footprint, a dinosaur's eggs and an apatosaurus. You can feel as if you have an adventure. Please read it!

The modern football is easier to play with and stronger. It can be kicked further and faster. I read "The History of the Football". It was introduced the history of the football in this book. I was surprised by that the first footballs are inflated pigs'bladders. They often burst so they are improved many times. I think that people in 17th century are rich in creativity. It was interesting. Please read it!

Cock a doodle doo! My dame has lost her shoe. my master's lost his fiddling stick And knows not what to do. I read "Songs, Alphabet and Playground Rhymes". This book introduced various songs. My favorite one is "Cock a doodle doo". It's interesting and exciting. I found that "Cock a doodle doo" in English is "Koke-kokko" in Japanise.

In the kitchen, Goldilocks found three bowls of porridge. She tried the big bowl. It was too hot. She tried the big bowl. It was too hot. She tried the middle bowl. It was too cold. Finally, she tried the little bowl. It was just right, so she ate it up. Slurp! I read "Goldilocks and the Three Bears". A girl named Goldilocks appeared in this book. She visited the house a family of three bears live in. She ate baby's porridge, broke baby's chair and slept on baby's bed. Finally, she was founded by three bears. It was an unique story.

Last Saturday, I made a plan for summer vacation with my friends. We are going to go to the sea. I am looking forward to it. For the reason, I have to save money. I will work at  part-time jobs in August. This Sunday, I studied hard to get high score on intermediate test. I want to convince the result of my test.

Suddenly Shifu opened his eyes. 'I'm OK, Po,' he said. 'And you are a great Dragon Warrior!' I read "KUNG FU PANDA". In this book, Po, is a panda, fights Tai Lung who is in prison. Master Shifu teaches Po how to fight. He is a great kung fu teacher.  He found Po is very good at kung fu when he want to eat. All of the character are animal. They are so cute! Last Saturday, I went to a lesson of cram school . I saw and learn a teacher's lesson. There were many children who go to elementary school and junior high school. They were greeting each other loudly. My voice was so small because I feel nervous. I want to speak more loudly next time.

The pangans who lived in Britain two thousand years ago celebrated their New ears on 1 November. Then the Christians came and people celebrated 'Hallowmas', a three-day festival between 31 October and November. ..... In November, winter is near, and hundreds of years ago people believed that bad spirits, like ghosts, came in the winter. They wanted the bad spirits to go away, so they made fires outside and used big autumn fruit or vegetables to make jack o'lanterns. I read "Seasons and Celebrations". The New Year, Valentine's Day, Easter, The Fourth of July, Hallowe'en, Guy Fawkes'Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas are introduced in this book. We can learn many public holidays. I'm interested in other public holidays.

Last Saturday, I went to interview. I'm going to do a new job. I felt so nervous before the interview. Because I get stage fright. But interviewer was so kind, so I can be relax. I can speak with confidence. This Sunday, I read some books. The most interesting book was " nisinomajogasinda ".　This book was so impressed. I moved.
