Next Door to Love

I read Next Door to Love this week. This story is about Stella, a woman who works as a chief in Italian Restaurant. She had a boyfriend before, but she thought she didn't need a man after they broke up. One day, a man came as her neighbor. His name is Tony. Tony has a pretty daughter, but he cannot see her because he and his ex-wife broke up, so he was always sad and Stella worried him. Stella's friend Janet said to her, "Everybody needs someone.", but she didn't think so. The next day, she worked hard at restaurant and invited to go to the film by Klaus, her restaurant's waiter, but Tony invited her to go to a bar in the same day. She said to Klaus "OK" at first, so she had to turn down, but she noticed she wanted to go with Tony, so she invited him tomorrow. At that night, Klaus said her "I like you a lot.", but she couldn't say "I like you too." because she didn't know her feelings. I have three points I recommend this book. The first, you can feel empathy with Stella, because she is afraid of being serious in love. She had experienced a bad love before. There were a scene Janet said "He wasn't any good for you. But you mustn't think all men are bad." I thought Janet is too officious when she talks about love, but she is kind and nice. The second, it is easy to read because it's a short story. I could read it for one hours. The third, we came to think about our partner. I want you read it.

I read Ireland this week. It's about Ireland, a country with beautiful high mountains, big empty beaches, long deep rivers. But it is not only side of Ireland. Another Ireland is a countly of stories and music. Most Irish people can sing, and there are many famous musicans and writers. Furthermore, Ireland has a side of blood, bombs, and death. When it comes to Ireland, I have an image of a tall round tower. I sometimes saw them when I watched Ireland movies. In the 20th centuries, Norwegian Vikings came to Ireland to steal many beautiful and expensive things in the Irish churches and mountains. Because of this, tall round towers were built beside them. Also, the story about Vikings is on page10-11. One day two different Viking ships came to a beautiful place in Ulster, and tried to fight each other to get the place at first. My Week

Last Saturday,I have a relax time to rest my body. I spent reading,sleeping and taking a walk in my holiday. But I forgot that I have to go shopping to buy something to eat and needed things. So I decided to go out this Sunday, but I forgot that in the morning. After all,I bought them in a hurry this Monday. I thought I must write down something I need.

The Ironing Man    by Colin Campbell      I read The Ironing Man this week. It's about a couple, Tom and Marina.      Tom works in London and lives in a small village outside London. Marina is his wife. She had spent bored life in a small village. One day, a man visited her. She called him the ironing man because he ironed her shirts  perfectly. She talked and spent a short time with him. After he left, she saw a butterfly and thought a wing of the butterfly may make an earthquake. On that evening, she told Tom about the ironing man and a butterfly which she had thought that noon. Tom doubted she became mad and started to think what she was doing. Then, Tom noticed a possibility that she cheated him. He became unconcious and asked a detictive to search her acts. After a few days, a woman visited Marina.
